 DRAGONWOLRD, By A Customer This review is from: Dragonworld (VHS Tape) DRAGONWORLD is about a young boy (Jon) who goes to Scotland after the death of his parents. Jon has a hard time adjusting to life in Scotland as he and his granda live in an area where there are not many children his own age. Following a myth he had been told, he goes to a magical site and wishes for a friend. The Scottish fairies grant his wish by giving him a young dragon as a friend, whom he decides to name Yowler.Time passes and the two grow up together. Ten years later, Jon's granda has passed away, and he is faced with the fact that he is not going to be able to keep his family's castle/manor. A developer and his daughter come to buy the land, when they see Yowler. The developer offers to pay Jon to show Yowler at a type of amusement park. Since he is desperate for money, Jon agrees so long as Yowler is treated well.
